Where therapy and healing meet.

New approaches to pain management & coping with serious health conditions.

CHARLOTTE, NC

Uncovering hope.

Imagine for a moment that healing is possible. No one tells you, “It’s all in your head” or “You’ll learn to live with it in time.” Your circumstances no longer define you. Instead, there is hope and progress. An endless sea of possibilities, where the status quo is challenged and unconventional methods are explored.

At Sapphire Health Psychology, we know the challenges you face can feel overwhelming, and that progress can feel impossible. We also believe that where you are today doesn’t have to be where you are forever. Here, we offer a glimmer of hope, guiding patients to the truth that’s already there: Improvement is possible. Resilience can be developed. Peace and comfort and wellness are attainable.

Let the healing begin.

Our approach is a fresh take on therapy services – and one that can stand alone, particularly for patients who have exhausted the traditional avenues for healing and improvement. Together, we’ll explore the mind/body connection, find the roadblocks that are keeping you from living fully, and arm you with tools for progress and healing.

Patient appointments offered Monday through Wednesday 8:30am to 5pm and Thursday 8:30am to 2:30pm.

Chronic Pain

Pain is essential. It’s our body’s way of letting us know something is wrong. But the cause of pain isn’t always simple, or even physical. Stress and emotions can create neural pathways that trigger a physical response from the body. Over time, as these neural pathways are strengthened by repeated stress and emotions, pain persists – or worsens. If your pain is medically unexplained, or if you have been diagnosed with chronic or persistent pain, don’t lose hope. We’ll uncover the roots of your pain – and work to change your body’s response.

Serious Health Conditions

Serious illness, whether acute or prolonged, can bring an onslaught of pain – physical pain, emotional pain, and even guilt. Grappling with a difficult diagnosis can feel futile and lonely. Here, we’ll help you remember that you are more than your diagnosis. Together we’ll find ways that you can live fully and effectively cope with serious illness.

It starts with a conversation.

If you suffer from persistent health challenges like chronic or unexplained pain, or serious illness, let’s talk. We can determine together whether Sapphire Health Psychology could be the right fit for you.

Patient appointments offered Monday through Wednesday 8:30am to 5pm and Thursday 8:30am to 2:30pm.
